I had the idea of doing a comedy about an aging Ph.D. student who was “ABD,” all but dissertation, because I was interested in the behavior and practices of chronic procrastinators. I got money from Yahoo at a time when web series were just starting. My dear friend Alexa Junge wrote the script, my dear husband directed it, and the lovely Anne Heche played my sister. I love this short film so much – one of the pleasures of this website is having a platform for others to enjoy it too.
